COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

In keeping with our purpose which states "The purpose and work of this Club is to promote good will throughout the community by charitable deeds..." the members of Fairfield Women are active in the community through volunteering, providing grants to local 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations and giving college scholarships to Fairfield/Fairfield Township young women. We also donate food items to the Fairfield Food Pantry and Box Tops for Education to Fairfield schools.

During the summer months 37 members volunteered 970 hours in 24 different organizations.

At each meeting we have a list of volunteer needs as provided by Butler County's Community Volunteer Force. This list is updated regularly at Facebook.com/communityvolunteerforce.

In May of 2017 we awarded scholarships to three Fairfield/Fairfield Township graduating high-school senior women and provided grants to the following local 501(c)3 organizations. Our December "Annual Charity Auction" and our Spring "Stitches 'n More" fundraisers made this possible.
